Arrington Capital is hiring a fund controller that will work closely with a small team of seasoned technology entrepreneurs and crypto investors to support all finance operations, accounting, internal control and valuation of the portfolio.
We are looking for a controller that is a subject matter expert in PE fund finance with a meticulous attention to detail and team-player mindset. Compensation includes a competitive salary and discretionary, performance-based annual bonus.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of monthly, quarterly, & annual financial reporting
- Work with Fund admin, auditors and legal counsel to ensure operations meet all financial, investor and other regulatory report requirements.
- In charge on tax planning and tax compliance matters, ensure timely delivery of the tax return and tax information to LP’s
- Maintain all internal controls, valuation and accounting policies
- Liaising with auditor, ensure the audit reporting is issued successfully and on time
- Collaborate with internal trading and venture teams to problem solve and enable high-quality decision making
- Maintain and optimize the accounting of all digital assets and investments
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in PE fund experience.
- Expert in PE fund accounting, taxation, valuation etc
- Experienced and knowledgeable of accounting software and management systems
- Knowledge of accounting standards and taxation in asset management
- Familiar with laws and regulations in asset management
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project and time management skills
- Self-motivated, well-organized and motivated by continuous improvement
- Not required but bonus points for past professional or personal experience in the cryptocurrency or Web3 industry.
